Welcome to the official website of Hexham Model Flying Club. Affiliated to the BMFA, our Club comprises of about 20 members.

HMFC exists to promote and safeguard the enjoyment of model aircraft flying in the Hexham area. We fly powered (I.C. and electric) fixed-wing aircraft, multirotor and occasionally helicopters.

Membership is by application please contact us. Fees for 2025 are £50 per year for adults members and free for under 18s. All members must also be a member of the BMFA who supply the necessary insurance required to fly model aircraft. Civil Aviation Authority registration is also required, please see BMFA web site for details.

We fly north of Hexham, a large grass strip with fantastic scenery at no extra charge!
